Kirûpark
Danse - AI performance
Premiere:
Berlin 2024, DOCK 11, Berlin.
TIME:
50min.
General Audience:
Production: CBC – Christine Bonansea Company
The piece creates an immersive AI space, envisioned as an ecosystem and structured like a futuristic garden. Rich with hybrid life forms, it envelops the audience in a ballet of shapes unfolding on different scales. Participants can actively engage with the aesthetic and physicality of the space, influencing the generative AI response in real time. The physical body celebrates the dynamic cycle of Kirûpark's four phases, punctuated by a quadraphonic soundscape. Kirûpark invites us on a seemingly paradoxical yet eloquent allegorical detour to reconnect with nature and our environment.
The project was initiated with an artistic Lab research at Dock Digital as part of Perspektive Kultur funds - Physical Immersive program . kirûpark will premiere in September 2024 at DOCK11 in Berlin supported by DOCK ART funded by the Senate Department for Culture and Europe with an international creative team.

GAMER is a choreographic piece created in collaboration with a multimedia artist team and set up for theater performance space. This original piece is lifted by a unique process and dialogue that combine the dramaturgic elements featuring various art domains and technology: 4 dancers/choreographer, the artist So Kanno who creates sensors Lasermice robots, the electronic music composer Nicole Carroll and the visual artists designer Lucas Kuzma and Yoann Trellu
GAMER questions our perception of hyperreality space representations using video game culture and archetypes.

Artificial Archeology
Premiere - September 2023, 19h
A CBC production in co-production with DOCK ART, funded by the Senate Department for Culture and Europe
The joint project by electronic music composer Lucas Kuzma and choreographer, dramaturge and performer Christine Bonansea Saulut deals with the theme of time and the layers of time, encased in a mesmerizing composition. Inspired by archaeology, the two ingeniously manipulate the principles of supersymmetry and metric to allow us to alter perception and journey through the vast dimensions of space and time.
Kuzma uses LiDAR scans to artistically and meticulously design a series of urban spaces, weaving intricate maps of a given geographic extent. In this correlative system, space harmoniously absorbs the essence of a potential past while simultaneously bringing to life visionary transformations of the future and revealing an ever-changing present - an ethereal realm akin to suspended, indeterminate parallel time.
By navigating the labyrinthine depths of Artificial Archéology, Christine's choreographic path reveals the enigmatic physical relationship between time and space. The piece takes us to a place where temporal boundaries dissolve, artificial time crumbles before our eyes and reveals the limitless possibilities that lie beyond the physical body.
